New Equality Commission Guidance

HMRC’s Adviser Editoral team has just informed Under the Quality Act some may be liable for harassment carried out on workers unless you they state you have taken “all reasonable steps” to prevent said behaviour. Guidance on preventing on forms of harassment at work published by the Equality and Human Rights has set instructions it appraises are reasonable to take. They recommend following these steps as far as possible, as it could give you a defence against a harassment claim.
